Hello all, I recently ordered a new Sapphire Sandwich (sucker for being able to see the movement) from an AD. They called Omega to confirm availability and told me it was out of stock and could be 6 weeks. I placed the order with a 20% deposit to secure the watch and they told me they'd let me know when Omega could give them a date for it being available again. That was 3 weeks ago and I've still not heard anything which isn't giving me much hope for it being 6 weeks! Is there anyone with some inside knowledge that can offer an update or insight into current supply or manufacturing issues?
With omega you rarely hear anything until a watch is ready to ship from the factory. If they said 6 weeks i would assume 6 to maybe 8, and start asking for a status from the factory after 6 weeks.
