Hello all!
I have just purchased this rather (I think)beautiful Sandoz watch from a friend.
The photos are his, and the watch is still with him. It will be shipped to me tomorrow.
I have no information about the year of manufacture etc, but I can't wait to get it and find a suitable strap for it😀

I have tried to google the reference number on the back case, but google has nothing for me.
Would anybody here know anything about this model?
My friend says that the calibre is FFST 96-4, and the ref number on the back case is 1716Z-88-4 .
L2L is 41mm and the width of the watch is 35,5mm without the crown.
Its a manual wind.
I hope it is a 50´s og 60´s watch?

The Sandoz I own also has 1716Z-88-4 on the case back, so I'm not sure that's a true reference number. WIth a day/date, it has a FHF 908 movement. It's also the earlier version of that movement with the wonky day change. (Day starts changing around 9:00pm and finishes about 3:00am.) Otherwise it's a perfectly fine watch. The lume on mine is Tritium, so 1970s seems more likely for it. I've had it for awhile, and it's one of my favorite summer watches.

Thank you for your reply!
That watch was elegant!

I wonder what the meaning of 1716Z-88-4 is?
