Milk chocolate or Dark chocolate? Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't. ....wait - both Almond Joy and Mounds were covered in dark chocolate. Nevermind!
D - you should just get a Speedy, yes? But only if owning one of these beauties Doesn't stop these knee slappers coming our way !!!
It is a black one. That is the way I got it from a one owner family, seems to have been serviced only once in its life and they replaced the crystal, tension ring and bracelet but left the #6 end links. (I am looking for a replacement 7077 if anyone knows of one). Everything else appears to be 100% original and in great shape. Al Archer was going to give this a full service and correct the tension ring for me in November but it is waiting patiently for when he recovers completely.
Being retired, my social security covers this. That's why it's great to be old in America Regards, Bill
If you have the guarantee, you could get that old bezel and discolored dial fixed. Then you'd have a proper speedy. Regards, bill
Nice Chocolate dial. Is that what you would call a transitional, transitional?? Broad arrow hands and a black base 1000 bezel on a 2915-3
Stop teasing, Spacefruit. Please tell us where you found that extraordinary watch? Is the "Same Same" in the thread title a hint towards Malaysia or a neighbouring SE Asian country? It's just beautiful in that battered and faded state.
No Dennis you were right, Almond Joy covered in milk chocolate and mounds in dark... And very nice Spacefruit!
