Sales regions added to Omega Forums watch marketplace for helping with import tax/tariffs

We've added visible sales regions to the sales forums, to easily gauge where an item is shipping from (or where you're located in WTB threads). Currently it's categorized by our most popular tax regions. Creating a new sales thread now has a location selector:

There's indicators on thread lists in each sales forum:

And the ability to filter sales by location:

It's also possible to directly link to a sales forum filtered by location in case you wanted to bookmark, like the US:
https://omegaforums.net/forums/private-watch-sales/?custom_fields[Location]=US

We're still adding some refinements and considering adding additional higher level filters toggles too.

This was primarily setup to help our American friends avoid any unexpected import fees, but should be useful for other transactions too.

Cheers, Trev

Very much appreciated. It's become much more difficult to ship overseas.

I'm trying to mark a post as sold that has a location listed: USA and it is giving me this error:
Any idea? Thank you for implementing this cool feature.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll take a look. Does re-selecting US help?

I tried reselecting, even switching to another country and switching back to US. This is the culprit thread for reference:

Just pushed a fix for this which should be live as soon as Cloudflare's caches clear out. Thanks for reporting.

Confused as to how all the tariff hullabaloo affects used watches purchased and sold at the discretion of a private buyer and seller...aside from shipping costs, +/- insurance... I understand they are allegedly "supposed" to apply, but how do such transactions necessitate both parties acknowledging the tariff? Out of extreme caution that overseas purchases will be "caught" by customs?

I'm trying add clear markings to Ebay listings in the recommended thread and a flag at the start to make it easier to tell which are in your region while skimming for Americans, Europeans and others. Hopefully that helps make things a bit easier too for buyers

No doubt I'm missing the obvious (it happens a lot), but what is the "TFA" icon that appears on some listings?

Two Factor Authentication.
I also didn't understand it until I saw it in another thread. The idea is that a seller who uses TFA is less likely to have their account taken over by a scammer.

You can enable it here:
