So if a person only has one (1) Universal Geneve and they pick up a copy of this book is there any danger of developing a strong need for others? Can it be just looked at casually?

 

Slippery slope. You really need this book if you are going to dive in. It's a beautiful overview of the complications and the brand.

 

Looks like a nice universal bible...I might jump on that one too..

 

It really is a fantastic book. even the old print adds are a valuable reference.

 

I must be incredibly strong willed then because after several months looking at 1940s UG chronographs, I nearly bought one, then bought the book -- and then ended up not buying any of the watches. But I'm happy with the really nice book with beautiful watches. The best part was getting to know lovely people who kindly helped out-- a very fine outcome IMHO.

 

Price points are not for the faint of heart, but one leads to another and another and another..........
