S58 owners, are your crystals signed? Anyone had any experience replacing one? Simply looking at the photos and dimensions--they don't look signed and the dimensions look to be reasonably standard--I'm wondering what makes these crystals special compared to generic GS Dive Tite crystals with a silver compression ring. The latter can be had for <$10 from most material houses. Is this seller simply finding a creative way to make some really fat margins?
I've never seen a signed Zenith crystal. He includes a photo of an A3736. I haven't tried to replace the crystal on my black-dialed version, though it's a bit crazed.
