Was wondering if any cousins over the pond have one of these yet? I think limited to 1,000 pieces, available in US only.
That kinda of all I know, if you have one, or know more, please share.

Gents is limited to 616 pieces, ladies 216. They're available in most of the world, just not Europe as they're the US team watch.

Does it shout 'IN THE HOLE' every five minutes when everyone goes quiet?

I can't decide how I feel about this one. My local AD has one, but I'm a little hesitant.

I really like them. Not sure if I could wear a Team USA watch though, being British...

Though my wife is American - mane that's the excuse I need!?

Haven't found any online though

I hear you, being British too, but we do have a 'special relation' and somehow don't have a problem with celebrating their landing on the moon with said speedmaster, or Americas cup Seamaster.

Do anyone know the Retail price??

I think in the US it's high 6's - don't know exactly. The AD I spoke with said that he'd be able to sell around $6k if memory serves.

Ouch that is a lot of dough for an AT. Nice dial though.

Not really when you consider it's a special dial that's guilloched really deeply, plus 18k logo/second hand, plus another complete strap and steel deployant. That's another $1300 easy in just work. Then add in that they're making under 700, the USA won the Ryder Cup, and the 15,007 LE Bond watch was the same price, and imo it's still a bargain.

My AT is one of my favorite watches, and I personally loved the RC when I saw it in person.

Fair point but you could also take the view that the 15007 Bond was $1000-2000 over priced too. I do prefer this to the Bond though.

$2000? That would put it under the price of a 8500 AT. You're crazy, sorry.

That would be one interpretation and I thank you for your concern for my mental health but perhaps the underlying issue is the price of all current Omegas which to me does seem crazy. Speedy excepted, most models have doubled in price in the past 5-10 years.

Omega has also introduced more technology into their movements and aesthetics; if that's not your cup of tea that's fine, older Omega's still exist. But they're still more reasonably priced than Rolex despite being (to my eye) just as nicely finished with at least equal, if not superior, movements.

With respect, that is an answer which doesn't hold water. The increase in price is nothing to do with increase in build cost. A coaxial balance doesn't cost $3000. I am not knocking the product, I am questioning how reasonable the price is. I have 23 Omegas, 6 from the past 10 years so I feel I am entitled to comment on their pricing policy.

Rolex are more reasonably priced than AP or PP but I think they are gouging too!

If that were the case and the coaxial escapement was the only thing added to the movement, I'd consider you correct. But it isn't, so I don't agree. The entire industry is overpriced right now, but you can hardly blame Omega for following suit while still providing substantive upgrades to the movements of their watches.

That pretty much sums up my point, the whole industry is pricing itself out of existence. I actually think we are in broad agreement but you seem happier to pay the $7000 for an AT than me.
