Straps? How expensive can it be to send overseas? I know that some countries have laws against certain exotic skins, but regular old leather isn't prohibited from most places. Shoot me a PM if you find a US source. If you're buying a few, I can drop them in the box with the ss IWC.

 

Have you been in contact with Rustwatch lately? I was communicating with him by email two weeks ago about placing an order, but have not been able to contact him by phone or email since 1st of Oct. Does anyone else here do business with him or live close to him? Hope he's ok!

 

Asked him to hold an order of 16 straps until 1st of month, but have not gotten response in two weeks. He lives in New York city. Great source for nice straps.
Hope he's just on vacation and that nothing's wrong healthwise.

I had also talked to him by phone, but now get no response. Do you know anyone here that deals with him?

BTW, can anybody recommend good watch strap brands? I've heard of Hirsch and ZRC. Anything else?

 

Nope and if you look at his recent feedback, there are lots of people whinging that items haven't been shipped, or that he isn't responding to messages...

 

He's been in the watch band business for some time. I believe he's either on vacation, sick, or deceased? I hope it's vacation, as he's been a great source of nice bands and I was looking forward to a large order I spent some time picking out. Nice guy....as he always threw in some bonus pieces on large orders!
