Unfortunately, the only platform to out this kind of bullshit is on watch forums, and that doesn't reach but a small percentage of the watch buying world. I'm really tired of having to tell n00bs that they didn't buy an original vintage watch because sellers like this are using semantics where they think that if the slab of metal is the original piece than repainting it still counts as an original dial. HOWEVER, this time the seller states "Original silver satin dial with printed numerals and Omega logo" which definitely includes the paint and ink, which is CERTAINLY not original from the factory as you rightfully pointed out.
@Tony C. - Isn't this the same guy who joined here and tried to convince everyone that you're observations on another one of his "original" dials was, in fact, refinished?
