OK, 2 Royal Oaks - a 4100 and 14790 - all other things equal, which one is the keeper?

I recognized the 4100 from HQMilton.
In any case - I am a huge fan of "smaller watches" - most of my collection is in the 35-37mm range.
I've tried on both - there is something about the RO that screams to me that it should be 39mm...I don't know, maybe it is just me.
That being said, of these, I think I am in favor of the 14790.

the pix aren't the actual watches in question - its an "in general" sort of query

In general the top reference. Unless it is these two specific, I'd say bottom. The fading of the dial around the markers would drive me crazy.
