image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Thinking of selling my virtually mint condition sm300. 100% genuine, was serviced by omega in 2012. What's it worth?

It is worth exactly what ever someone is willing to pay. Nothing more nothing less. Really. Go look on eBay.

The last one that someone's uncle left them sold for $650.

Based on the market, I will give you more than that...

To start, I'll be an interested party haha...

But the question is, what did Omega do to it? Especially on a watch with military history... Typically most individuals will stay away from an Omega service as they virtually change everything on the watch to make it new again... is the piece all original?

Do you think we should have a sticky telling noobs this isn't a free valuation service or shop window. This is admittedly a more desirable watch than usual but the kind of posts do grate rather.

That dial looks to have been replaced. Shame, it probably knocks a few grand off it.

    Very cool piece.

I'm wondering if anyone else has issue with the essentially closed 6 and the bezel?

I'm sure you're only asking for a simple evaluation and certainly not trying to sell your watch on this forum by circumventing the 200 post rule.
Matt already offered you $650. so why not put it on the Bay for $650. and see if it sells :)

It's all original except the crystal and the crown. Omega returned the old parts with the watch

Probably should consult Christie's or Phillips...they will tell you about value in the consigning process.

Or just chuck on ebay and prepare to be amazed...

Could we see some better photos off the dial especially around 6 O'clock ? And some movement shots would be nice.

    Thanks

So you know you have RN Seamaster 300 and apparently the knowledge to say it's "100% genuine" but don't know what it's worth? Ya, ok . . . .

I've not taken the back off, but according to omega, it is a 552 movement. image.jpg

It was my late fathers watch. I am not a watch expert, but from what I have read it is very collectible. I really don't know it's value, that's why I have asked the question on here. I saw a W10 one sold for over £69k ( I don't know what the difference is) they all look very similar

The statement about it being genuine, is because the omega shop told me they would destroy it if it was a fake when it went for a service

I wouldn't trust selling on eBay, there are too many fraudsters on there
