Rotary Maximus watch, c. mid-1950s (judging by reference dials). 34mm w/o crown.
Cal. 80 bumper movement, running strong and keeping good time. Movement is very clean.
Blued steel hands with original lume (some lume loss on minute hand). Lovely red sweep second.
Champagne dial bordered by white "railroad" minute track w/second hashes.
Gracefully curved 18mm lugs.
All steel, all original with one possible exception--I believe the crown is original, based on reference dials, but it is unsigned.
Fixed spring bars, as is typical of military pieces.
Some minor dial wear around central pivot. Minimal overall patina.
Comes on a new, handmade bund strap.

Not sure if this was intended as a military watch, military repurposed for civilian use, or just done in a military style. It has many of the features similar to military watches from the 1950s (e.g. the railroad dial w/seconds demarcation and the fixed spring bars). I want to emphasize that this is speculation on my part, as I've been unable to locate any further information or find examples of Rotary watches made for military issue in the period. Any insight here is welcome!

$200.

I have sold several pieces on OF, to the full satisfaction of the buyers. Endorsements here:
