Seems mislabeled - should be solid 18K housing a 291 within.

Good condition examples have hovered ard 2k USD - this is in quite bad shape and shouldn't hit anything near those prices rationally.

I noticed it had been relisted; I'm always wary of these, as I guess the previous buyer had had the watch opened and checked out - with a poor result.

Glad to see that it's solid gold, I don't know much about Longines, but couldn't make sense of the listing...

Why on earth didn't they take the effort of Polywatching that crystal?

Case isn't in that bad a shape (pity the enamel medaillon has gone) and the dial might be nice.

belive no enamel on this model and the dial looks good, the question is why they didn't change listing cause they know its solid18k when its sold first time at aprox 1800usd

+ 20% fee;). I bought it as I wanted to check the thing.
    Facts:
As expected it's solid gold (rose).
Case and dial is very nice. A shame the enamel is gone.
Nice movement, but the rotor have been touching the caseback quite a lot.
Ref# is 9025, but based on the movement# Longines said it should be 9027

Despite the issues I like it, but with the statement from Longines, it was too expensive and I returned it. I chimed in again, when relisted, but another wants it more than I. Due to an error from the auction house, the auction is extended, so you actually still have the chance......;)

Isn't the ref. 9027 a 9025 but with Deluxe dial? And I believe it doesn't say 9027 but 9025 in the caseback of these Deluxe's.

Lauritz is a strange beast. With this information, why not correct the description? But no. At the same time, gold constellations can go unsold for weeks.

Interesting. Anyone have this confirmed by Longines?

I think both Conquest references can be 18k gold cases / dials - just with different lugs.

    OK - thanks.

So, when the watch in question is stamped with ref. 9025 and Longines from the movement# state 9027, will it then be considered a franken, or....?

I believe the difference between the 9021/9023 and the 9025/9027 was only the dial.

Here the 9023 is direct besides the 9021 and according to my best Italian is says the only difference is the 'lusso' (deluxe) dial.

Here it says the same about the ref. 9027 (it being identical with exception of the deluxe dial), but the catalogue doesn't show page 15 (where it shows the ref. 9025 according to the table of content).

For those of you in the know, for the 9023 and 9027, they explicitly say that it's massive gold, while the don't make that explicit statement about the 9021. Is that just the copy, or some actual difference?

They mention the dial is massive gold, which I believe is the difference between the gold 9025 and the gold with gold dial 9027. The 9025 also came in SS.
