The dial looked clean and I like the idea of a 39mm Seamaster in SS. The clincher was the 14 day return policy. I will have my local watchmaker open her up once she gets here and decide where to go from there.

Be sure your watchmaker knows these watches, Cosmic 2000 cases are a huge pain to open without damaging them.

Congrats, it is a nice watch. Really like its simple, classic and elegant design. Just got myself a New Old Stock Seamaster Cosmic 2000 with SS bracelet. Can not wait to wear it soon.

Looking at the other cosmic 2000s on flea-bay at the moment, I think I made out pretty well. I'd like to get my hands on an OEM bracelet at some point.
