A friend of my bought this gmt from a seller with 100% feedback with a 14 day returning period. Do you think he needs to get a watchmaker to open it to see inside? He does not have pictures of the inside.
Alrighty. Well, he can send it back within 14 days so I will ask him to make some straight up pictures in daylight and post them here to double check. Thnx
I'm of the opinion that if you have to ask then you probably should. I'm not even close to an expert but the bezel looks sloppy and the corner of the numbers look too rounded.
Have it opened. The movement will give you a definitive answer if you are not familiar with external details. I Wouldn't judge the rest of the watch by the bezel insert though. There are many gen GMTs out there with aftermarket inserts.
Are there any fakes that can replicate a rolex GMT hand stack and hour jump? Seems like that would be a pretty good indicator of a proper rolex movement inside.
