These pictures were just sent to me by my watch agent, a Rolex Unicorn with California dial. I have no idea about this watch and if its all original, Hoping someone here can help establish its authenticity. Thanks.

I too like the dial.

No idea if it is a real Rolex though.

But surely if you are paying someone to source watches for you then that person should be able to guarantee authenticity? Otherwise why pay them?

Ask John Mayer about that. 😁 Or that guy in Florida.

Personally, just the name Unicorn makes me think it's one giant joke on you.

My understanding is that "Unicorn" was a less expensive sub-brand of Rolex, similar to Tudor.

Why would they double brand a lesser grade with the Rolex name? Makes no sense.

As nice as that dial is, I'm fairly certain it's a modern redial.

I agree 100%, this should just say unicorn on the dial and have a rolex movement. Not worth anything above $800. It is most likely a redial as well. I don't like the painted sub seconds hand like that and sub seconds ring.

With due respect, do you not think you could ask your 'watch agent' to send better images?

I wouldn't call it a California dial, stylised Art Deco maybe, but not a true California, or even a Half-California.

....and I wouldn't be calling that "watch agent" again. 🤦 😁

I was going to say the same thing.

I prefer the terminology Roman-Arabic dial to California dial (which is not official Rolex terminology), and this one ain't it by a long shot (even in its inauthentic refinished state).
