·Up for sale is my matte dial 5513, I've enjoyed this one for a while but am more focused on vintage chronographs nowadays. Great opportunity to get a maxi dial everyday driver for much less than others are asking. It comes with the original sale documents/warranty and also Rolex NY service papers and receipt. Purchased in Trinidad for $145 in January of 1968.
Case - Case has been polished in the past, but is still thick. It wears dings and marks from use as pictured. There is pitting between the lugs on the 5513 stamping side, the serial on the other side is clearly visible. My watchmaker tested it as waterproof a few years ago, but I do not know if that is still the case, water resistance is not warrantied and should be checked. I don't know the sub bezel inserts well, but this one has a fatter font (please PM me if you know exactly what it is), I have MK3 in my notes on the watch, but no idea if that's right. The insert didn't have a pip when I bought it and I had one added, it's too white and should be changed out for a darker pip.
Dial/Hands - This came to me with a gloss service dial/hands from the 2004 service and I switched it out for a matte Maxi Dial and original hands that I purchased from John Buckley. The hands have cracks in the lume as shown and are a little darker than the dial lume. I believe this should have a matte serif dial, but I prefer the maxi look, so that's what I bought 😀
Movement - Watch runs and keeps time, i do not know the service history post the 2004 Rolex NY service, so please assume it needs a service.
Accessories - The watch is sold on the pictured 93150 bracelet, it fits my 7 inch wrist and shows stretch as pictured. Also included are the original purchase receipt, warranty papers and other items pictured
