·Hi guys,
I have for sale a 8.2 serial Rolex Submariner 5513 "maxi dial" in great conditions, with an unpolished case and original lume.
Serial dates back to 1983, the watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.
The last series of matte dials that Rolex used in the Submariners are known by collectors as the Maxi Dials: this is the last version of the Maxi dials - the Mk5: the last matte dial before the transition to white gold surrounds on the hour markers.
CASE:
The case is even and thick, and in my opinion it has never been polished.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 5513 caseback (period correctly stamped 5512).
BEZEL INSERT:
Original Rolex Mk3 insert in mint conditions ( the so called "MK3 bis" precisely, that is correct for early 80's 5513).
DIAL:
The dial is an original "maxi dial "MK5.
Dial shows some age and a very strong patina, and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Dial shows no scratches and no missing part around the rehault.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 93150 with 580 endings, unpolished and in very good conditions.
Also the clasp is unpolished and original to the watch, and the code (H) matches the year of the serial.
MOVEMENT:
Correct 1520 caliber running well.
The movement was fully serviced by my watchmaker.
Asking 15000 Euro, insured shipping included.
I am not interested in any trade and I have no room for negotiation on the price.
Payment method - I will accept Paypal and bank wire.
Plenty of international references.
