I am very happy to offer for a sale a truly amazing watch: a full set Rolex Submariner 5513 'Maxi dial' that I had the chance to buy directly from the first owner.
6.7 serial dates back to 1981, case is unpolished and the dial is a fantastic example of 'Maxi dial' with the characteristic oversized hour plots and beautiful cream patina.
The watch was purchased in 1983 at the historical Italian Rolex AD 'Raul Sandoz' in Catanzaro and it comes from the first owner with the complete full set, including the original Rolex guarantee and the rare price tag with serial number.
The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.
CASE:
Even and thick case with original bevels that in my opinion was never polished.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 5513 caseback (correctly stamped 5512).
BEZEL INSERT:
Original Rolex "Mk3" insert in mint conditions.
DIAL:
The dial is an original 'Maxi dial' Mk4 variant with a beautiful cream patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
Oversized 'maxi' plots in perfect conditions.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no scratches.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 93150 with 580 endings in excellent conditions with 12 links.
The clasp is original to the watch and unpolished.
SET:
The watch comes with the full set: original Rolex box (inner/outer), the Rolex warranty certificate, the Rolex warranty holder, the Rolex translation booklet, the Rolex calendar, the Rolex booklet, Rolex tag with serial number, Rolex pouch.
MOVEMENT:
Correct 1520 caliber running well.
The movement was serviced 5 years ago and was checked by my watchmaker.
Asking 23000 euro insured shipping included.
I am not interested in any trade.
