I have for sale a full set Rolex Submariner ref. 5513 in amazing conditions, with an unpolished case, a perfect dial and original lume.

9.2 serial dates back to 1985-86 and dial is the transitional gloss dial with white gold surrounds on the hour markers.

The watch was sold/ issued by Head Quarters Command, Afsouth Central Welfare Fund in 1986 and I got it from the family of the first owner.
AFSOUTH (Allied Forces Southern Europe) was one of two major NATO commands in the Mediterranean area, located in Naples, Italy.
The watch comes with the complete full set and the guarantee country code (905) is the correct one for the AFSOUTH NATO Base.

The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.


CASE:
Nice thick and even case that has never been polished.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 5513 caseback (correctly stamped 5512 as every WG 5513's caseback should be).
Pics of the caseback were taken after the caliber service before placing the rubber ring on the caseback.

BEZEL INSERT:
Original mk4 insert in mint conditions.

DIAL/HANDS:
The dial is an original "white gold surrounds" with a creamy patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no scratches or flourish on the dial.

BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 93150 with 580 endings in very good conditions, and also the clasp is original to the watch and the code (K) matches the year of the serial.

MOVEMENT:
Correct 1520 caliber running well.
The movement was fully serviced by my watchmaker.

SET:
The watch comes with an extreme full set: original Rolex box and outer box, original Submariner booklet, original Rolex Guarantee, Rolex Guarantee holder, Rolex calendar, Rolex anchor, Rolex tag.

Corrigendum:
I replaced 3 items of the set that originally came with the watch when I purchased because not period correct.
The Submariner booklet, the guarantee holder and the box, that you now see pictured, come from another watch from my collection, a 1987 Rolex Submariner.
These items are now period correct but they aren't the ones that I originally found with the watch.
The watch was sold me with a box and guarantee holder that you usually find in 90's watches and an earlier Submariner booklet that you usually find in 70's Subs and these items may also be included in the sale for free.
