I've been accumulating a lot of watches this year, so I'm going to start letting some pieces go.

This is a very fine example of a Rolex Sub from 1999 (A-series) with all the original accessories, including inner and outer boxes, stamped and filled-out warranty certificate from March 1999, booklets, anchor, hang tags, etc. This series had the short-lived SWISS-only dial. In my opinion, the watch and accessories are in exceptional condition in all respects. The case was lightly refinished last year by Rolliworks to restore the factory finish and sharp edges, and hasn't been worn since. The original 93150 bracelet is tight and has 12 links (10 installed, and 2 loose), and will fit a large wrist; the bracelet has some superficial scuffs.

The watch has been well maintained. I have service paperwork from 2011 from the previous owner, and I had it completely serviced by my Rolex-certified (with parts account) watchmaker in 2018, at which time all seals were replaced and a new mainspring installed. It was pressure-checked, with new seals, again earlier this year. The movement is running strong and keeping excellent time in all six positions, as shown by the timegrapher results in the photos. The watch is totally ready to wear, and represents a great package for a collector.

Take a good look at the photos and let me know if you have questions.

My asking price is $10,500 USD for this very nice, original, and complete package. I would prefer payment by PP F&F, bank wire, or other fee-free electronic payment. Shipping included within the US.

Links to my selling and buying feedback are below, and I'm happy to share personal information by direct message. If anyone thinks I have made an error or omission in this listing, please send me a direct message, and I will happily make any necessary correction.

That’s about as close to new as you will find a 5- digit sub, nice watch, Dan.

it’s interesting that people wait forever to buy a Sub from a Rolex store while this sits here waiting for a new owner.

And it’s the preferred (by me which is all that matters) slimmer 5-digit case with holes- this is what Subs are supposed to be.

Can one fit solid end links on a sub like this if one so desired?

I believe so, yes. Starting a couple of years after this watch was made, the same 16610 Sub (still with lug holes) was sold with a SEL bracelet.

@ebrohman, you are a local IIRC, so if you have a bracelet you want to attach, we can give it a try. I don't have an SEL bracelet in hand at the moment.

Edit: This listing shows an example of a 16610 with lug holes and a 93250 SEL bracelet.
