I have for sale a rare, new old stock, and exceptional Rolex Submariner ref.14060M COSC "four line" dial.
G series, circa 2011.
The watch was sold in Tenerife by the official Rolex retailer 'Ideal Joyeros' in 2011 and it comes from the first owner with the full set, including price tag with serial number.
The present reference 14060M COSC "four line" dial is one of the rarest of all Submariner models featuring COSC movement and the sought-after "four lines" dial.
The watch remains new and absolutely unused with full factory stickers remaining on the case and bracelet.
THE STORY:
The reference 14060M (with the ‘M’ standing for “modified”) was released in 1999 and fitted a revised movement, the Caliber 3130. This new caliber was improved with a Breguet overcoil, as well as a full balance bridge which offered a greater degree of stability and shock resistance.
Even still, the first generation of the Submariner 14060M also consisted of two-line dials, despite the updated movement. Likely due to the additional costs associated with submitting the movements for third-party testing, Rolex still seemed reluctant to submit the watch to the scrutiny of the COSC, and so the first Submariner 14060M watches were not officially qualified as chronometers.
It wasn’t until as recently as 2007 that the brand sought official chronometer-certification for its Submariner No-Date movements, leaving collectors with the choice when purchasing a Rolex Submariner ref. 14060M of going for a formally sanctioned four-line ‘Superlative Chronometer’ version or sticking with the older two-liner variety.
The four-line 14060M COSC rated was then only available for a short time until the reference was discontinued in 2012, making this version very sought after by collectors.
CASE:
New old stock case with full factory stickers .
BEZEL INSERT:
Black bezel in NOS condition.
DIAL/HANDS:
Original and very rare Rolex 14060 "four lines" in NOS condition.
The dial remains in a flawless condition free from any blemishes or marks. The luminova filled plots and hands also remain fully intact without any degradation or discoloration.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 93150 in NOS condition with full factory stickers.
The clasp is original to the watch and the letter code (CX3) matches the serial.
BOX & PAPERS:
The watch comes with the full set: original Rolex box (inner/outer), the Rolex warranty certificate (punched papers), the Rolex warranty holder, the Rolex booklets ('Your Rolex Oyster' and 'Rolex Submariner'), Rolex price tag.
Asking 15000 Euro, insured shipping included.
I am not interested in any trade.
