Not sure about the newly arrived white Tropic strap... there might be a little too much authenticity here.
And my wife says it's girly.

I think a cream, or a dark brown to match color in the indices would look killer!

Thanks for this thread; I've been perusing Enicars for a few weeks, now, and never saw this one... it should be the flagship thread for a new sub-forum! I love these watches, too, and I look forward to a Sherpa or SeaPearl 600 one day...馃槜

A little fey. In combination with the pink bezel triangle, even a little Disney princess. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Big offset from the hairy arm, in fact. If you want to go light colored, would aim to match the lume

Come off it, the bezel triangle is Nantucket red. Matches my favorite pants.

The white strap reminds me of the white Ray-Ban Wayfarers I had in the 80's. Not so macho, but made me look tan as hell.

I like white, it picks up the numbers on the bezel. The dial is so spectacular it doesn't really need any help.

I think a black tropic would really set it off... And I need me one of those Enicar buckles! There's one on the bay but It might not be the right size (?)

Definitely better than white. But less authentic.

I think you should keep the white strap, and add back in the White 80's Wayfarer's 馃槑馃憤!

I'm sure you'll look much better than this dude... I think he has your shades!

Cool to see someone here picked it up! I was watching this as well but the missing lume in the minute hand made it a no go for me.

I do think it will clean up quite nicely!

UPDATE
I've expanded the Seapearl 600 collection a bit. 馃榾

EnicarSeapearlsFront_zps887aa2d2.jpg

Two fancy-lug Seapearls have been added to the fleet. Both of these have "Seapearl 600" in silver lettering within a black rectangle. The one in the middle of the top row has an EPSA case dated 9-57. It needs a service... runs but doesn't set. On the watch at top left, "Sherpas" is added above "Seapearl 600." That one has had a little polish on the backside but is otherwise in good shape.

So at least four variants of these early divers.

The backs demonstrate varying levels of abuse... and what a nylon strap can do to stainless steel:

nice. 4 like models. one of these bad boyz should be on the market soon. it's not healthy to have four healthy's.

is the straight lug version an original case? that's the one i want. i prefer that case..

i'm really a sucker for vintage skin diver esque watches under 5 hundo

Hopefully a new crystal and service will improve it 100%. I鈥檓 in two minds about filling in the missing lume.

Totally agree. You may want to look into stabilizing the lume so more doesn't get lost.
