This Rolex Submariner 16800 was offered to me together with an Omega SHOM by one of my watch agent. My concern is the patina on the watch dial and hands? It looks uneven and the lumes are greenish. Water seepage? Any thoughts? Thanks.

It dos look like those hands are a little rusty/moldy. Did you get a chance to take a look inside?

16800 is not an expensive Rolex.
I happen to like this model, but
I would find a nice one, not that hard.
This one is not attractive. Dirty plots
    among other things

Good point. Not a model to fret over too much.

Agree. My guess is that a near pristine piece will only be marginally more expensive than that one, so why not get the right one?

Many thanks gentlemen. I will just wait for a minty one as you have advised.

Here's one I got last week

Have a look at HQ Milton. Jacek normally has some nice examples. (This was not one of his). It depends on what you consider not that expensive ;)
