    Ordered a rolex for my mrs and its arrived in store today to collect and was shocked to find out the price has gone up 10.35% by the looks of things, is this across the board? Its added a chunk to the price of the watch so not too impressed..

    Im pissed as i offered to pay two weeks ago and was told let it come in an make sure its the right one first.. that decision will cost me an extra £650 :-(

    Anything i can do?

    If you did not put deposit and fix price there is nothing you can do.

    No deposit as i was told to wait for it to come in first, as I now starting to think this is why they didn't wish for me to pay for it at the time.

    Im annoyed.

    Yes there is. The OP is under no obligation to buy the watch so he can just walk away.

    if its a rolex boutique, you have no shot. But if its an AD, I would make the argument that you want to be a loyal customer for them and if they can honor the old price, thats a win in your book to continue to do business with them for future purchases - if not, the grey market shall win your business ::stirthepot::

    It's up to costumer service. If they remember you came in to buy and it was just an issue of stock they should honor the price. If it is you who said you would wait then it is what it is

    Did they give you any paperwork showing the agreed price when you placed the order? If so they should honor the price agreed upon. Otherwise I'd walk away if someone did that to me.

    We buy a fair few things through them so we are on first name basis lol, im going to go in saturday and have a word, it was the manager that surgesting hanging fire until it was in.

    Bascially they had the watch in but it had the wrong braclet so we had to order the jublie braclet, but we where there that day to buy they know that

    Not spoken with the manager as of yet, will speak with him saturday.

    I bought the BLNR on Friday last week, the AD in question said it was coming but had no idea of when. The indicators were the service centre pricing had gone up and new catalogues with price lists were not available. Three days later a 10% price increase!
