Hi All, I am selling my matte maxi dial MK4 Submariner. I am looking to trade up so need to sell a watch. It is a beautiful watch in honest condition. The only non original part I believe is the pip which seems to be a later replacement as it is more white than the hands and dial. Vintage Rolex is a minefield as you probably are aware. I had posted this on the vintage rolex forum before buying at they reviewed it saying it was all correct. Please find the link here if you want to check it out: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/vintagerolexforum/5513-maxi-mk4-opinions-t257732.html The dial is beautiful and not a mark on the dial. The lume is a beautiful yellow. All marks in the photos are from the plexi. Serial: 7,3XX,XXX Clasp code: G Bracelet: 93150/580 Serial is in correct range, bracelet also has a matching clasp code for the era so it is likely original to the watch. Also insert is correct for this model. Serial and model numbers both legible between the lugs. This is a maxi dial with slightly larger lume plots than other 5513s and hence more desirable. You can read about them here: http://www.5513mattedial.com/TheSequence.html I've had this watch serviced in the last 2 years by Classic Watch Repair here in Hong Kong and its keeping great time. Looking for 16,500 USD for the watch net to me. The watch is with me in Hong Kong. I can ship globally via DHL Express. I can accept payment via PayPal or to my HSBC account. Thanks OF for the space! Any questions please DM me. Kind regards, Mike Photos:
If that watch were mine, I couldn’t sell it. Way too nice and too hard to replace. And I have a soft spot for this generation of 5513s. GLWS. Somebody’s going to end up with a really nice Sub!
Thanks! I think it really is a nice one too. There are a lot for sale but they usually have issues. Hard to find a good one. Thanks for the kind words! PS I should have mentioned this earlier but the cystal is a replacement.
