Rolex in two and a half men

I’ve done some research on Charlie Sheen’s watch in Two and a Half Men. The consensus is a 35mm midsize platinum Yachtmaster. After revisiting some of the episodes, I still can’t 100% confirm it’s a midsize because it looked full size in some of the scenes. Anyone has any thoughts care to chime in?

I was recently watching re-runs of Two and a Half Men, and noticed the watch pictured above on Charlie Sheen's wrist. I agree that it looks to be a Rolex, but cannot provide any further information as to which model. In addition, I think Mr. Sheen is wearing a hair piece of some sort...doesn't look natural. One further observation...I would totally hit Rose 👍

I think there was some article where it was said the yachtmaster was his own, and midsize. it does look midsize to me in every pic I have seen. the full-size version has a lot more wrist presence. Who said it was platinum? Perhaps they were referring to the bezel insert which is made of platinum in the stainless models?

Yes platinum bezel to be exact.
This model has full size, 37mm and 35mm. Can’t pinpoint which one he’s wearing.

I beg to differ. Charlie should be wearing a Speedy. And Kandi (April Bowlby) is stunning ...

How do you tell it’s midsize?

Based on how much space it takes up on his wrist. He's not a huge guy. A 40MM would take up the whole wrist diameter.

Could it be the 37mm version?

I’ve been watching re-runs and I’m thinking about getting one of those 35mm yacht-master Charlie Sheen wore. I have a small wrist the midsize might just suit me. However, some say it’s for women given its size. What are your thoughts?

The 40mm Yachtmaster silver dial was small on my 7.4" wrist, and I sold it. I would expect many men can pull off the 37mm, but I wouldn't recommend a 35mm.

I would think a 37mm would b just fine, or do you already wear a lot of 35mm watches?

That video makes me think that my Submariner Hulk is too flashy and not worthy of "tool watch" status.

WWJD really means, "What would Jaque do?" > not wear a Hulk. At least I have my Sea Dweller, which can go as deep as 4000 of Alan's water pitchers stacked vertically...

The only smaller size watch I have is a 36MM Datejust which I think looks proportionate on my tiny wrist.

1mm is the width of the tip of a sharp pencil so I think you should be fine with a 35mm but ideally you can try one on first. Newer Rolex generally wear larger when you look at the lug to lug width
