Rolex folks, I need your expert help.
    1. Does this look legit? Seller says it's a 1954 Rolex speedking, all original except crown. He said 25478 was stamped on the case.
    2. What's a decent price for it?

Watch does not come with any paperwork. I've asked for pics of the inside caseback, case sides top and bottom, and a clear pic of the movement, but I'm still waiting on that.

    Thanks for your help.

It's worth more without that bracelet ::puke::
Quick glance on ebay shows them from $700 to $900 for average condition. This one looks average to a little below.....to me.

Sounds like you are doing your due diligence.
It is a very nice watch and if you can get at a reasonable price, then congrats..
Wait for the additional pictures and reference numbers on the case back.
We can speculate until the cows come home but if it is not running, could you find the parts that need replacement...?!

1954 sounds about right for serial number. Rolex started over when they reached 1,000,000 in 1954.

My guess is that movement is running, but how well? Who knows. Count on spending some money on service regardless of condition.

    Otherwise looks nice.

Thank you all for the comments/advice. The seller states that he bought it, got it serviced and now selling it (asked for service receipt).
Does anyone have issues with dial? I tried looking it up online and having trouble finding it.

I'd definitely go with a vintage leather strap

I do. Perhaps is in original condition, I dunno ...but the imperfections are too much for me...

I hear you. For me the imperfections add to the character, as long as it's in authentic original condition, I'm cool with it.

Dial looks original but has some spots on the left side. Also nothing wrong with smaller watches, but this one would be about 31-32mm in diameter.

Boy's size for sure. Thought the OP already realized that.

I did not know the size. I thought it would float around 34-35, which would be the smallest watch for me, I think. Question, I've a 7.5" wrist, what's my minimum-maximum size? FYI, I'm new to the watch game.

All depends...Here's my silly little practical advice to you. Grab a sheet of blank paper and draw out a few circles on it. Say from 34mm to 40 mm in diameter. Cut them out and put them on your wrist, one by one. See what makes best sense for you.
Myself,I'm 6'3", 230lbs, 8.25in wrist. I find my ideal range to be 36-40mm. The former many vintage omegas and rolex datejusts I love; the latter my beloved divers and the rare modern issue.
