Hi guys, I have for sale a 9.4 serial GMT Master 16750 in great conditions, with an unpolished case and a beautiful dial with original lume. Serial dates back to 1986 and dial is the transitional gloss dial with white gold surrounds on the hour markers. The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time. CASE: The case is even and thick, and in my opinion it was never polished. Serial and reference number are fully visible. Original 16750 caseback. BEZEL INSERT: Original Rolex fat font blueback "Pepsi" insert in mint conditions. DIAL: The dial is an original "white gold surrounds" with a beautiful creamy patina even on all plots, and all lettering is clearly visible and correct. The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial. Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light. No craquelê on the dial, which is also very rare since most of the "white gold surrounds" dials are "spider" or "stardust". BRACELET: The bracelet is the original 78360 with 580 endings with 12 links in very good conditions, and also the clasp is original to the watch and the clasp code (J) matches the year of the serial. GLASS: The crystal on the watch is the original 16750 tropic crystal. MOVEMENT: Correct 3075 caliber running well. Original "open 6" data disc. The movement was serviced 3 years according to the previous owner. Asking 11000 Euro, insured shipping included. I am not interested in any trade and I have no room for negotiation on the price. Payment method - I will accept Paypal and bank wire. Plenty of international references.
Nicest 16750 I’ve seen in a long time. Also apparently not tampered with either. I am a sucker for mint pieces. Just look at those lugs. I couldn’t help myself. Again. And see, I don’t just get vintage Speedmasters. Occasionally, I’ll take a chance on something ‘foreign’ to my sensibilities. Darn OF for showing me, every day, new things to covet. Very dangerous website. (In truth, I would be very reluctant to buy a vintage Rolex on eBay, due to the ‘tampering’ that many vintage Rolexes there are subject to. I can tell on vintage Speedmasters and other Omega chronographs whether they’ve been messed with, but despite much studying, I am not confident I can tell on vintage Rolexes. Therefore, I am actually very grateful to OF. Even if it is a very dangerous website.)
