I have been on the fence about selling this one, but I just don't wear it enough, so I thought I would offer it up to members of the OF family.

This is a Rolex GMT-Master ref. 1675 from 1978 with brown nipple dial and root beer bezel insert. It's a really clean example, with cream-colored lume on hands and dial. The lume is dead, as expected for a late 70s Rolex. When I received it, the chamfers were soft, so I chose to have it refinished by Rolliworks, and they did a really nice job in my opinion. The later 62523 two-tone jubilee bracelet is in very good condition with minimal stretch and is long enough to fit a 7.5" wrist at least; the clasp has been polished and re-brushed in the past. The movement is running well, but has not been serviced in my possession. I find the hand-winding a bit stiff. As always, I am not making any specific representations about future timekeeping. Similarly, I make no claims or guarantees about water-resistance.

Lots of photos below, please take a good look to judge condition, and don't hesitate to ask questions by DM.

Specifications:
Brand: Rolex
Year: ca. 1978
Model: GMT-Master 1675
Case Material: Stainless steel with gold bezel
Size: approx. 39mm
Lug width: 20mm
Crystal: acrylic
Bracelet: Rolex two-tone jubilee ref 62523

My asking price is $9,700 USD by PP F&F or bank wire. I'm also open to discussing trades up or down (vintage only). The watch and I are in the US. Shipping by USPS registered mail (for insurance reasons) included within the US. Other payment methods can be discussed for established members with fees covered. (I have nothing against international sales, but I don't have a way to insure the watch for full value if shipped internationally.)

Links to my selling and buying feedback are below, and I'm happy to share personal information by direct message. I can also provide a few additional references to OF members who have not posted feedback threads. If anyone thinks I have made an error or omission in this listing, please send me a direct message, and I will happily make any necessary correction.

A prize from one of the most discriminating collectors on this forum- don't bother looking for a better one, you probably won't find it.
