I'm in London this weekend, and tried to pick a new one of these up for a friend -

I've been to at least a dozen ADs and contacted various grey market dealers, but this thing is impossible to find! A few of the ADs and the official Rolex boutique I went to quoted a wait list time of five to six months !!! When did this watch get so popular ? - I saw them everywhere last year. I guess it's after the Pepsi came out in WG only? Even the all black one was hard to find here... Funny how things change.

I still see lots of preowned ones on the sales forums of various forums though. It's a pretty good looking watch. 馃榾

It's also widely available on grey market sites or grey market brick-and-mortar shops, if you want to go that route.

I saw many pre woned sales in Jakarta. Apparently not that popular.
Pepsi 1675 is different story.

Thanks guys, was trying to get one in UK as there was a bit of an arbitrage with the recent strength of the $ vs the pound, and ahead of any new price increases (my friend is here in NY, as I am now) - Will see if he still wants to do it at full $ price! DLT222, thank you very much for the offer, will be in touch if need be. Cheers

Rolex seems to create these bogus waiting lists. They did it for the steel Daytona for a long time too.
