Caught another carefully used Rolex Explorer ll 1655 which belonged to a long time friend. He called and offered me several of his watches that are not getting enough wrist time.

I managed to buy this Rolex, a first generation Breitling Navitimer 806 pilot's chronograph and a ww2 Omega military watch which i have already posted yesterday also in this forum.

This 1655 has a mk4 Stern dial which matches well with its 5.6m serial number. It comes with the original heavy oyster bracelet.

Erpin, looks like you have many nice friends (this one, the Navitimer one). Would you mind introducing them to us :)

We were not able to close the deal on the Milgauss. He wants a few days to think about my offer. Anyway i ended up buying a Rolex Submariner 18k ref 116618

The Graff Toubillion is brand new with a unique case design. I didn't know the Graff now makes watches. He bought it from someone who received it as a gift from the Saudi Royal family. He paid a third of its retail price.

The pocket watch was made by Le Phare in the late 1800 and is huge at 58mm. Beautiful porcelain dial.

He also showed me a 5513 pcg but has a service dial.

Went to see my friend and all I got was a cold beer... oh well, he didn't charge me for it so I guess I'm ahead? ;)

    Nicely done on the 1655!
