i have been watching this on the bay. No box/papers. Watch seem to look fine. Seller seems reputable and had been a long time member with 100% feedback for other similar items with 8000+ transactions. I really can’t find any fault with it. Does anyone here notice anything I’m missing. Price is pretty tempting. I don’t care about box and papers. I’m going to be using this was as intended and hiking/camping and climbing mountains and as such I’m sure it will get dinged up so I’m not worried about flipping it or ever selling it really. Let me know what you all think. Thanks,
Adam

Good catch. See that’s why I ask here. No matter how many times one reads an add you can still miss something. I sent him a message asking what the deal was with the stash of Rolex sport models. We’ll see what he says.

..We’ll see what he says.

Look at his "See other Items" or "Visit Store", he does have several EIIs listed..

They all come with bracelets that will fit wrists up to 7.5 inch .... From that alone, I'm going to guess that these watches are from the Japanese market. Possibly Hong Kong but most likely Japan.

That's not an issue in itself but explains why he seems to have a good stock of them.

same price as the one shown on the OP’s link?

Sorry I misread the OP statement. I thought it was saying 100% feedback and only $8000+ for the watch. Please except my apology.

I have the same watch and checked my watch against each photo in the listing, I cannot see any issues in any part of the watch. The watch does seem to show some slight wear in the bezel and top right lug (to confirm it has been worn) but not nearly as much as my personal watch as I wear it a lot and it has a lot of marks. I would argue this watch appears as though it was worn very little and is still in excellent condition.

As far as the price, I would confirm it's a good one if seller is legit. I bought mine in CAD in 2015, and that price is similar USD value to what I paid back then.

Personally, I don't quite understand how such a modern watch worn sparingly has no B&P, but you say it doesn't matter to you. Personally I'd want B&P since it's a bit of a yellow-flag for me about legitimacy. It's not as though this is a cheap throw-away watch and so I question how someone buys it and throws all B&P away or loses it within few years. I get that others might not feel the same way, but you did ask for opinions and that is mine.

As to the particular model of watch, mine makes in the rotation often as it's very readable and I enjoy it very much. Nice choice!

I agree with @gostang9 this is not a cheap watch. The watch comes new with a 5 year warranty from Rolex, so many of these would still have some warranty coverage of the piece is 2014 or newer.

Also would it fit your wrist? If you have to buy links, there goes the value equation.

Will also echo, great taste!

The seller wrote me back basically said they are a very large company and move a lot of product. Makes sense I guess. Not sure if I’ll pull trigger but I appreciate all the help guys.

Good luck. In the end I hope it works out for you. Looking for good deals can be a bit stressful (at least it is for me..)

I hear you but I have found the key is to not be in a rush and to enjoy the hunt, if I didn’t have to search for watches what else would I do with my free time! It’s very satisfying when you do finally find that good deal.

Absolutely agree on not being in a rush. I research and think about new purchases for a long time before actually making the decision. The stress for me is after having researched and seeing that the one I want is going for a typical price of ‘x’, anytime I see another of the same being offered at <90% of ‘x’, I am worried that there must be something wrong. I believe I usually get “what I pay for” and I don’t find the kinds of bargain gems so many on OF often post about.

Enjoy the trill of the hunt!
