I have for sale a 3.2 serial Rolex Explorer II ref.1655 from 1972 in great condition, with a strong case, a beautiful dial and original lume.
Serial dates back to 1972 and dial is the rare MK1 with the "straight" seconds hand.
The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.
CASE:
The case is even and thick with its original bevels.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 1655 caseback, correctly stamped II.72.
BEZEL INSERT:
Original Rolex Mk 2 bezel in great conditions.
DIAL/HANDS:
The dial is an original Mk1 dial with a yellow tritium patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Correct open 6 and 9s date wheel.
The Original matching orange 24-hour hand is perfect.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 7836 with 380 endings in very good conditions with 12 links.
Also the clasp is original to the watch and the code (72) matches the year of the serial.
MOVEMENT:
Correct 1575 caliber running well.
The movement was serviced 4 years ago according to the previous owner.
Asking 32000 Euro, insured shipping included.
I am not interested in any trade.
