·Originally released in 1956, the Day-Date is one of the most iconic watches ever produced. For sale is my yellow gold 1803 with an uncommon buckley blue roman numeral pie pan dial with the rarely seen cigarette boat hands. Automatic movement 1556 calibre non-quickset. After rocking this beauty as a semi daily beater for the past 5 yrs, I would like to fund for a new purchase and pass this on to another collector. Case measures at 36m, appears to have been previously polished and exhibits light wear from use. Retains good proportions and remains thick. Caseback hallmark engravings behind lugs are visible via a loupe.
Buckley jeans blue coloured Dial exhibits lume loss at 6 o’clock. I will leave it to the discerning collector and open source research on the rarity of this dial variant. Plexiglass is free from scratches / chips. Service history is unknown but it is running to spec.
Watch only, does not come with box & papers. 18k YG concealed clasp yellow gold president bracelet is in very good condition with no stretch and 55 end links. Non period-correct. Now for the pictures to do the talking.
Price for this 1803 is 19,000 USD via bank wire. The watch is located in Singapore, South East Asia. Insured shipping at buyer's cost and risk (buyer may choose method of shipping). Any possible customs charges, such as import duties or taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
