·Hi all,
Up for sale today is my Rolex Datejust ref 16013. While Datejusts are commonly found, I do believe this is a pretty special example that would appeal to both a seasoned collector or someone looking to start a vintage Rolex collection.
A few highlights:
- Swiss papers
- Original purchase receipt (from Bucherer)
- Uncommon gloss black dial in perfect condition
- Creamy and original tritium lume on the dial and hands
- Original and seldom seen two tone oyster bracelet. Full size and almost no stretch
- Serviced in the past 6 months
What's included:
- Box
- Papers
- Original purchase receipt
- Manuals
- Leather sleeve
- Watch & bracelet
Condition: This example is in overall very good vintage condition. The gloss black dial is perfect and is perhaps the nicest gloss black dial I've ever seen on a Datejust from this era. Lume on dial and hands is original and has aged to a beautiful creamy color. The case is nice, appears thick and retains it's original finish though it does have slight chatter on the non crown side of the case. The caliber 3035 was serviced, runs smoothly and keeps time within 5 seconds/day. Ref and serial # are clearly legible on the case.
Additional Information:
Size: 36mm without crown, 20mm lug width
Serial: 74xxxxx
Year: 1983
Caliber: Automatic, cal 3035
Box/papers: Yes/Yes
Bracelet: Original two tone oyster
I’m asking $6995 (reduced from $7150) which will also include express shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. Paypal, Zelle, Transferwise or bank wire only. Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide (with some exceptions).
Plenty of references available upon request. Thanks!
Note: The gloss black dial makes it almost impossible to take pictures without reflections. Let me know if you need any additional ones.
