Hi OF. After a tough conversation with the wife, I'm listing my Rolex Datejust for sale here as part of a collection consolidation and just generally trying to free up some funds to get through this tough time that we're all going through. Welcome to my December 2020 Rolex Datejust 36mm 126200 with Calibre 3235 - purchased from Mappin & Webb in London on the 15th of December 2020. It is a 36mm, blue dial, oyster bracelet watch with a smooth bezel. It is stunningly gorgeous and comes as a full set (minus stickers). Inner box, outer box, warranty card, Datejust booklet, an extra link and the swingtag with matching serial to the watch are included. It is like unboxing a brand new watch. The watch has been worn almost every single day since it was purchased in December as I struggled to gravitate to my other watches during this time period. This thing has been enchanting and magical for every single second I've had it on and as a result, it is a VERY difficult watch to take off! Condition? Well, its been worn desk diving and that's really about it. Some light hairline scratches that you'd expect from a 6 week old watch - mainly on the clasp. It hasn't really seen the outside world at all - which is evident from the gorgeous sheen of that 904L stainless steel this thing has. The shimmer of the white gold indices is crisp and the clasp opens and shuts with a reassuring click and confidence. It has gained 0.5 seconds per day since I bought it. I've studied Chrono24 and other used luxury watch marketplaces and am asking for £5,400 + delivery (will calculate once buyer commits) + PayPal fees (if relevant). The watch currently lives in West London and while I would prefer a UK buyer - I'd be open to any offers from fellow forum members. At least I'll know the watch is going to a good home. Otherwise, thanks for a looking and hope everyone is staying safe. Pictures below: Edit: sorry for the jumbled up photos - they were taken in a specific order so it wasn't meant to be so chaotic!
My name is Bumpus Decimus Meridius, commander of the sellers in the Omega Forums, General of the best Datejust configuration possible, loyal servant to the Swiss timepiece, father to a Rolex, husband to an awesome wife, and I will bump my sale post, in this week or the next.
Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to sell a watch, or even a whole collection, is insignificant next to the power of the bump.
Changed the price to retail for the week. Pick it up for the AD price + delivery/insurance/PayPal fees now! Its boxed and packed and ready to ship.
