I recently sold my gold Rolex cosmograph that I inherited due to financial need however I am keen to reinvest the remainder. I have bought a 2011 hulk primarily for the pleasure of wearing it and secondly as an investment I alsoown a 1971 and a 1967 seamaster. With all the excellent knowledge on this forum. I would love to get your thoughts on what you would buy with a $10000 budget?

Sad to see it go... but IMO 10k is a good start, you can buy something you like. Early 14060 with lug holes and T lume can still be found around 7k. Or GMT 16710 for 9k to 10k.

That must have been tough to sell sir. Glad to see you are taking care of your responsibilities and keeping the Rolex tradition with a more modest purchase.

It was difficult but needs must. Rolex tends to keep its value for sure. But am open for all ideas

Does it have to be a Rolex? Dive watch? Chrono?
Vintage or modern?
I now have a 67 and a 71 seamaster so something from the 90-90s. Case side no bigger thank 41 max. Stainless steal original brecelet. I hate the transpatent rear plates. And hope fully I can wear day to day. Nothing to fancy but not a submariner watch

If you want a nice daily wearer, you could go with the 2531.80 or the 2254.50. A modern or neo-vintage Speedmaster would probably fit the bill as well.

Here are photos of my collection so far. The 1977 cosomograph sadly soldier roles hulk 2011 with full papers. A seamaster 1972 with replacement strap and a 1966-7 seamaster comic with origami strand and crown. Any guidence on next watch would be great...

Some choices: 16700, 16760, 14270, 16570, 90s datejust + a tritium 90s speedy, 90s SM300+ 1 or 2 other watches

Considering you have no chronograph in your current collection, Speedmaster could be a nice choice, e.g. Ed White is ~ in your budget.
