Rolex 2006 certificate vs 2025 service card

Hi all, I’m an Omega man who just sold a Rolex on C24. I did specify “with papers” by which I meant original AD invoice, manual and Rolex service cards from 2023 and 2025. I could not provide the original paper certificate from 2006. I am wondering how much value (if any) the old paper certificate would have added, given that the 2025 Rolex service card already verifies authenticity of the watch and gives a 2 year warranty. I would be grateful for any comments.

It’s more about desirability than value. Original warranty papers are particularly sought after on Rolex’s and ‘with papers’ means they are included.

Who knows - people used to pay a premium if the hologram sticker was still on the caseback, even if it was covered in a decade of wrist grime. People get silly with “originality” in watches.

I thought Evitzee gave an excellent response to your 1st post on this question.
