Up for sale from my personal collection, an early 1980's Rolex 16750 Glossy Dial, head-only, with beautiful dial and hands that still hold a reasonable amount of charge. The Good: the movement underwent a complete overhaul service back in 2013 by my local Rolex Authorized Service repair shop to the tune of $500+, and has been sparingly worn since then (have receipt.) The case, the lugs are quite thick, has seen a light polish in it's past but retains a lot of its original shape and metal. The dial is free of any "spidering" and is flawless as are the the hands. The insert is practically brand new and is scratch free! Being that this is a 16750, it has a quick set date function and a really nice profile which sits very comfortably on the wrist compared to other modern GMT's. Cons: the dial and hands are not original to the watch and we're replaced by the RSC at some point during service. Hence, never send vintage watches to RSC for service! Overall: the watch is a great daily wearer and in excellent condition. These continue to appreciate in value and are highly sought after. Having owned my fair share of GMT's, the 16750 is one of my favorite references. Price: $5,600 wired, shipped within US. The price reflects the overall condition of the watch. It needs absolutely nothing. Return Policy: 3 day inspection period, less shipping charges. I fully stand behind the watch. I have plenty of references and have sold numerous watches on this forum. Feel free to email me if you have any questions at: Hodjata AT yahoo dot com Thank you for looking.
I have had a lot of inquires about having the correct bracelet for the watch. I do indeed have an Oyster 78360 with 580 end links which would be correct, and would be willing to sell at an additional charge. Here are some photos.
I gotta honestly tell you..If I weren't knee-deep into my little 5513 thingamajig right now... What a great GMT, and the black insert is my favorite!
For what it's worth, this one comes from a GMT fanatic and connoisseur of the highest order. And to say @ATWG stands behind his watches is an understatement. GLWS!
WITHDRAWN - Thank you for all the "Likes" and the kind words, this will stay in the collection for now.
