hi Guys, I'm new to OF but lately been bitten by the speedy bugs quite badly. Recently I just acquired a 145.012-67 & a 3577.50 and was thinking of offloading my M serial 16610LV fullest and topup for a 105.003. Wonder is it a good idea and I seriously need your precious views.

 

A Good condition used hulk going to be about 1/2 a decent 105.003.

I'd trade the hulk for a Kermit with fat font and no rehaut. Esp since you have a 321 speedy already. At least that's what I'd do.

 

OP has the 16610lv, which is Kermit. 116610lv is Hulk.

 

My Bad google search gave me green dials. Doh!

In that case I'd keep the Kermit or trade to the early one if his is not one. The rehaut inscription of Rolex drives me insane.

 

I would put my money in a 105.003... I've two brand new full set Y serial (first series) Kermit with all the factory stickers. I can't even wear them, nor do I see the price rising at all.

 

I'll gladly take care of that problem. Heck I'll pay for shipping

I would hold the Kermit in unworn condition. The Speedmaster Hype seems to create a bubble...

 

I would keep the Kermit. I've been on the lookout for an early fat four.

 

I feel the 105.003 is a more special watch than the Kermit. Good ones are becoming ever more scarce. Pick one up now before the prices get vintage Daytona silly.

 

Keep the Kermit and wait untill the cash is ready for a nice 105.003.

 

I'd keep the Kermit as you already have a 321 Speedmaster. Unless you have other Submariners too.
