Rolex 16570 period correct date-wheel

    I came across many serials even from L that came with open 6 and 9 date wheel but mine from R serial is closed. I’m just wondering any R serial 1988 with open 6 and 9 out there pls? Many thanks.

    I have an R serial 16610 with open 6s and 9s from early 1989.
