Hi All,
I'd like to contribute by sharing my Rolex 1655 Mk1 1972 Explorer II, known in Italy as "Freccione" (Big Arrow),
quite nice especially because is from the first series with Mk1 dial with all its original parts, with the expection of hands
that have been replaced in the 1984 (original Rolex spares, obviously).

I'm quite troubled since I cannot decide if keep it or not, what do you think?

For me it would depend on either if I needed the cash or there was another watch I "needed" more than this one. If either of the were the case then I'd sell.......to alfanator 馃榾

Stunning. It is a birth year watch for me, so I would definitely keep it.

What would you do with the money if you sell it?

I had one, 100% original and correct, albeit well used, but it just never got any wrist time for one reason or another, so I sold it and have not regretted that decision. Of course, you need to decide what is best for you and your collection. If you are going to keep it, try to chase down a correct handset. Good luck either way.

If you sold that, what on earth are you going to replace it with? (Rhetorical!)

You can't!! So is have to say keep it!

Yeah, if you sold this, there would come a day hence you'd regret it, and likely categorize the action as one of the worst decisions of your life

The Steve McQueen would be 4 lines not that one. But if that's a 1 st or second gen 5512 then it's worth more than the Steve M

I have an idea, don't sell them...just give them to ME!!!!!!!

And don't worry about shipping I'll take care of it all. Hell, I may just fly to your house and get them in person.
