My understanding is this reference utilizes a Rolex 24-6000 tube which was later changed to a 24-6020. Do both of these tube types accept the same crown and if so what is the appropriate Rolex part number?

 

It should as they are the replacement parts of their predecessors.

The appropriate part number is as you mention, 24-6000 and 24-6020 or B24-6000, etc..

I even have a guide that shows the 24-6010 tube was also available for the 1655/1675 references, to fit the 24-600 crowns..

The new replacement part numbers (monobloc) are 24-604-0 (crown) and 24-6330-0 (tube)..
