submariner 14060M no date with a D serial number from 2006. This is a two liner and comes naked, no box or papers but it does come with a Rolex service card as it was serviced just over six years ago, and service case from rolex. Seller is asking $8,700.
All pics are of the actual watch.

Also considering an smp 210.92.44.20.01.003 ....and he also has a 2 year old smp black for 4k...I love my 4 smps but a rolex is tempting

I know squat about rolexes and their servicing, I have read these are lighter weight then current production.

As I said, I know little about rolexes, so any feedback or hints on this will be appreciated.

It isn’t possible to fully judge the case from those pics but it doesn’t look overpolished. Some pictures including the sides from a couple of angles would help.
Even in the UK that’s not an amazing price for a naked, two line sub at the minute so I wouldn’t imagine it’s a bargain in the US.

Can't judge condition from those photos. What are your specific questions? These watches are mass-produced commodities, so I'm sure you've already found plenty of comps for valuation. I'm seeing average examples without papers in the $8k range, even from dealers. Private sellers are probably getting less, unless there is something really nice about it.

I was just curious about the price and condition mostly. I'm far more familiar with Omegas so really just don't have a clue. I somewhat know this seller and have dealt with him before so was just curious about the price mostly.

Found this one but it is 11.5k for a 14060 with box and papers....which I can find some mint 124060 for that price or less.

I'm just looking. People on other forums put them out as a place to look to find a quality rolex. I don't need perfect, but I don't want to buy one that is all dinged up or over polished etc. I'd seen angelcity but didn't know how reputable they were. Thanks.

DavidSW will be at the high end of any Rolex price. You can trust what he sells, but you'll pay a premium. It wouldn't hurt to text them and negotiate if that's the watch you want. But if it were me, I'd stick to a 14060M over the 14060. There are some good ones out there, just have to be patient and keep looking.

I was messaged to look at beckertime for watches and theirs do look nice, but I don't know if aftermarket bezels should be a concern as all their 14060M's have such. Also none come with papers or box....which doesn't seem like a huge issue but I don't know.

DavidSW is basically a retail store. Still not sure what you are asking. Are we supposed to be showing you examples? At the other end of the spectrum, Angela is selling one for $7k. Obviously someone's daily wearer, but nothing wrong with it for the price.

Have you had a good experience with angelcitytime.com?

She’s highly recommended on Reddit but I’m overly cautious.

I have known her for a long time as a collector and forum member and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her.

Being in the UK I’ve never heard of them but after spending five mins on their website I daren’t go back for a second look as to a UK buyer the prices are very tempting.

I ended up going with a 124060 from @mdgrwl

I like the ceramic over the metal bezel.

She's certainly different/smaller than my smps. Wouldn't say better.

But She's beaut.

Thanks for the assistance.....
