It's time to say goodbye to another one of the collection. This one is a Rodania Geometer with a white dial. This is a genuinely rare piece. I've only ever seen 1 other photo of a white Geometer and it had the same hands and dial so I believe these to be original. The black dials are also rare watches. These were produced in a small batch and not many out there. What I've heard is that these were produced in 1954 and actually predate the ck2915 Speedmaster by 3 years and looking at the dial they defintely share a resemblence. I don't know if thats true but its an awesome looking watch none the less. Heres a pretty good site of you want to read more about these watches: http://www.bazamu.com/rodania-geometer/ This watch is 38mm and has a valjoux 72 movement adjusted to 3 positions. To my knowledge Rodania was the only company besides Rolex to adjust their movements to 3 positions. It keeps time and winds smoothly. I had this watch just recently serviced by Simon Freese about 2 months ago. I've noticed recently the chrono pusher sometimes does not engage. I'm not sure if Simon has a warantee on it but might be able to send it to him to repair. I dont have a movement photo but can go to my WM to get one on request. While at service I also has Simon touch up the 7 oclock marker. The lume had fell off there and he was able to add it back. Looks consistent with the rest of the watch now. The last one I saw sold at auction for over 22k USD. That was for a black dial in great condition. The dial on this one has obviously seen better days so I'll offer it at $7000 USD shipped to you. Watch is with me in Hong Kong. I have many references on this forum if you need any. Any questions please let me know. Thanks OF for the selling platform! Photo time:
