Hi all members, Im offering for sale, this beautiful Rodania dual register chronograph with a very nice, fully functional and buttery smooth Venus caliber 175. Service history is unknown yet the chrono functions operate flawlessly and smoothly. The watch runs fast. It could certainly benefit from a proper service. Case and caseback: Rodana branded stainless steel back shows some pitting but overall in fair condition. The Rodana/Rodania dual branding marks the transition when the company changed from "Rodana" to "Rodania" in the early 50s. See my post on the subject here https://omegaforums.net/threads/so-what-do-we-know-about-rodania.47588/ Watchmaker engravings show services starting in 1961. The chromium plated case is in very good condition for a watch this age. No signs of chromium flaking save some scratches on the back of the lugs. Case is a very nice 38mm excluding crown. Lug width is 19mm. Dial and hands: Beautiful and crisp original dial with radium markers. Excellent creamy patina. Original hands are fair with some corrosion. Crown and pushers: I've seen one other example of this watch and it was equipped with the exact same crown and pushers. I'm confident they are original to this watch Movement: Beautiful and fully functional Venus 175 column wheel chronograph. Service recommended, runs fast about 20secs/24hrs. Priced to sell USD $ 675.00. Shipped to Canada or the CONUS. Payment by PayPal for friends and family or bank wire. Zero post members must provide references with their inquiry. Cheers to all,
that is one heck of a vintage chrono for the price now GLWS... should go really quick now. Or so I hope so I don't fall for it myself as I really, really don't need to spend more money on a watch right now, no matter how much of a killer deal this is
