My Roamer kick continues. This time it is a co-branded Seth Thomas Stingray Chrono with a Valjoux 726 inside, from around 1973.

Seth Thomas (b. 1785, Connecticut) was something like the Henry Ford of American clockmaking, a pioneer of mass production. His company was known mainly for wall clocks and large, public clocks such as this one, at Grand Central Station (from the Wikipedia entry on Seth Thomas):

In the early 1970's, with the Seth Thomas company in decline, some Roamer models were marketed in the USA under the Seth Thomas brand.

This one sports its original Seth-Thomas-branded NSA bracelet:

... and a standard Roamer crown and case back.
