Most of us enjoy the idea of a nice 'Divers' watch, vintage or modern, a watch that can work say 100, 200, 300, 600 or even +1000 metres underwater....but for the vast majority of us they are just toys, and will go no more than about 3 metres underwater. I was sad to read of the death of elite Navy SEAL diver, Saman Kunan. He had volunteered to help with the rescue of the Thai children stuck underground, and was delivering oxygen bottles along the planned exit route.

Chicago police dept lost a veteran diver as well recently searching for a drunk that fell off a private boat in the Chicago River. Dangerous work.
As a native Thai, I thank the OP and all the comments from the bottom of my heart. RIP, Kunan. You are truly a hero.
