Very sad. I grew up on Star Trek. I had epic battles with my sisters when we were little kids, I wanted to watch Star Trek, and they hated that weird space thing... I'm happy to say in later years they came around and loved it as much as I did. I can recite every line from every episode of the original series, and yes, did attend a convention or two as a kid. I expect NASA, and probably other space programs, to honor Nimoy in some rather special ways. Live love and Prosper
Live long and prosper. Amazing how many things on Star Trek became a reality later on. Still waiting for the transporter though. Beam me up, Scotty.
I always wondered if Omega would do a Star Trek watch, considering that show and its fans (including I) did influence NASA and kept interest up in space travel and a better future for all. Perhaps some would see it as tasteless but I would love to have such a watch that honored either the show or the crew who are now exploring the final frontier... RIP Captain Spock . Max
His last tweets are very poignant: http://www.vox.com/2015/2/27/8121067/leonard-nimoy-twitter He lived long and prospered. gatorcpa
Yes, he certainly had a thing for blondes. He was the embodiment of the "rational scientist" meme that fills early science fiction. Without Spock you can't have OTT Kirk.
